Veronica was born in San Luis-Potesi, Mexico. She immigrated to Pasadena, TX with her parents when she was a child. In 2015, Veronica and her sisters became American citizens. She knows the importance of voting, especially because she did not have a voice before obtaining citizenship. Veronica educates her friends and family so that more become involved in local elections.

Veronica worked as a Senior Manager for Cinemark running an accounting department for 11 years. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in accounting.

Veronica supports the ACLU and various LGBT+ organizations. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, and helping foster puppies from the streets.
