Ride DART Free to Vote in the 2020 General Election DART is providing free trips to voting locations in the DART Service Area.

How to Ride DART Free to Vote
DART is providing FREE transportation to voting locations on two Saturdays of early voting and on Election Day. Voters can ride at no charge on all DART bus, light rail, Dallas Streetcar, GoLink and Paratransit service, and on the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station.

DART will provide free rides to voters on the following days:

Early voting on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 and Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.

Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.

Free DART service will be available all day to help you get to your polling location.

No proof of voter registration is required to ride free on Oct. 17, Oct. 24 or Nov. 3.

Hand Delivery of Ballot by Mail

 

 You may hand-deliver your ballot in person anytime after ballot is received and voted before or on Election Day, at the Early Voting Clerk’s Office at:

During regular business hours from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.  Any time during the extended hours listed on the chart below and on Election Day from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.

Note that a voter may only hand-deliver his or her own carrier envelope and not the carrier-envelope for another individual, can only make such a hand delivery during Early Voting Period and Election Day and must deliver the carrier-envelope to the early voting clerk’s office. The voter will be asked to present an acceptable form of photo ID listed in Section 63.0101(a) of the Texas Election Code. If the voter does not possess and cannot reasonably obtain an acceptable form of photo ID, the voter can execute a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and provide a supporting form of identification listed in Section 63.0101(b) of the Texas Election Code. Also, if the voter has a Voter Registration Certificate containing the Disability Exemption (E) notation, the voter may present it. The voter will also be asked to sign a signature roster.

A ballot that is mailed from overseas and is postmarked or accompanied by a delivery receipt showing the voter submitted
the ballot for delivery by 7:00 pm on Election Day must arrive by 5:00 pm on the 5th day after Election Day (or the next
business day after the 5th day after Election Day, if the 5th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
